ST. PATRICK´S DAY

 

On 17th March it´s the national holiday in Ireland: Saint Patrick's Day.

El 17 de marzo es la fiesta nacional de Irlanda: el Día de San Patricio.

People were green clothes and everything becomes green.
La gente lleva ropa verda y todo se vuelve verde.

The shamrock is the symbol of Ireland. If you are lucky, you may find a 4-leaf clover!!!

El trébol es el símbolo de Irlanda. Si tienes suerza, ¡quizás encuentres un trébol de 4 hojas!

Have you ever heard of leprechauns? They are little magical creatures. The legend says they have a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...

¿Has oído hablar de los leprechauns? Son pequeñas criaturas mágicas. La leyenda dice que esconden un caldero de oro al final del arco iris.

LIVING THINGS

 

1. People, animals and plants are living things. Las personas, los animales y las plantas son seres vivos.

 2. A rock, a brush, some socks, a table, a doll or a car are non- living things. Una roca, un lápiz, unos calcetines, una mesa, una muñeca o un coche son seres inertes (no vivos).

What's the difference between living and non- living things?

¿Cuál es la diferencia entre los seres vivos y no vivos?

1. Living things need: food, water, air, sunlight.

Los seres vivos necesitan: alimento, agua, aire, luz solar.

2. Rocks, sand, air and man- made objects are non- living things. They DON'T need food, water, air and sunlight.

Las piedras, la arena, el aire y cualquier objeto fabricado por el hombre son seres inertes (no vivos). NO necesitan alimento, agua, aire y luz solar.
